excellent natural jewel
The Pitztal nature park region is a must for holiday guests in the Pitztal in summer, but also in winter.
In summer, the Kaunergrat - Pitztal Nature Park opens up originality and diversity in the smallest of spaces. The aim is to experience the high mountain landscape, the Fließer dry grasslands, the glacier at the end of the valley and various protected areas in the nature park. The free hiking program with a nature park guide perfectly rounds off the nature park experience in summer.
In winter there are guided winter hiking tours in the Kaunergrat - Pitztal Nature Park (snowshoe hike, adventure hike with snow games, search for traces with the hunter, horn sledge ride). The excursions in the winter program of the Pitztal nature park region take place weekly

Austria's highest café on the highest glacier in Tyrol (Pitztal Glacier)
Since November 2012, the Pitztal Glacier - an extraordinary natural experience in itself - has offered another highlight: the Café 3.440 - without exaggeration one of the most beautiful panoramas in the Alps!
There is space including a terrace for approx. 100 people and if you want to put your photos of the floating terrace with panorama online, you can use the free WiFi.
The Café 3.440 is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Kneeling at the Stillebach bathing lake in St. Leonhard
You couldn't have found a nicer name for this place than “Stillebach”. Stillebach - that is the home of the Pitztal water world. The cliff fall falls here over steep cliffs; in the midst of a picturesque mountain backdrop, an idyllic bathing lake with a large lawn and a Kneipp facility at his feet promise comfort in many variations.
The center of the water world is the Kneipp facility with the hand, foot and treading pool. The cool water tingles freshly around the legs in the pedal pool, the cool water massages the forearms in the hand and arm pools in a pleasantly stimulating way. In a separate relaxation area with a large sunbathing area, you can relax excellently after Kneipp.
Changing rooms, an information board with the Kneipp rules and a refreshing drinking water fountain round off the relaxing offer.
The Kneipp facility delights our guests from around the end of May to the end of September.
